Timber Sales ...
Timber and pulpwood sales are often the culmination of many years of careful forest management. If handled correctly, they can maximize the returns on your forestry investment while at the same time carefully protecting the site on a clear cut and residual trees on a thinning.
All timber sales must conform to the South Carolina Forestry Commission’s Best Management Practices guidelines (BMP’s). If handled poorly, timber sales can do serious, long-term damage to residual timber and timberland. Many private landowners have only one timber sale in their lifetime, so it is imperative that it is done properly. We are not affiliated with any timber buying company, dealer, or logger, so we are able to represent the best interests of our clients at all times. We are constantly reviewing the market conditions for virtually all forest products in our region so we know the very best time to sell and also when no to sell certain forest products.
