James M. Simons & Company, Inc. was established in 1977 as a full service consulting forestry company for the private non-industrial forest landowner. Over the years, the firm has grown a reputation for honesty, integrity, hard work, and personal service. From the small family forest to the sprawling quail plantations in the South Carolina Lowcountry, James M. Simons & Company Foresters have the knowledge, experience, and ability to make it happen.
Consulting Forestry is both an art and a science. No two forest landowners are alike and no two forest management plans can be exactly alike. Every forest landowner we work for is unique in what forest resources they have and exactly how they want to be managed. We discuss each landowner’s goals and objectives in order to understand exactly what they foresee for the future of their property. We then write a forest management plan to implement these goals.
